When performing a linguistic review, the reviewer primarily focuses on linguistic aspects such as punctuation, grammar and spelling. In addition, minor stylistic adjustments are made, which means that the reviewer checks, for example, if hyphenation is used correctly (walk/ing and not wal/king) and, if the used terms or words express what is actually meant (semantics).

We use Microsoft Word or OpenOffice programs (.doc/.docx/.odt) for linguistic reviews. All changes and adjustments remain visible and it is up to you to decide whether you want to accept the change or not (for how to accept/decline changes please go to FAQ).
